A large tank filled with water is used to quench copper spheres of diameter 20 mm from an initial temperature of 87°C to a center temperature of 47°C. The water temperature is at 7°C and the spheres can be assumed to fall at their terminal velocities during the process. Use Whitaker correlation for the Nusselt number of a sphere.
