You have 12 pennies in your pocket. Of those pennies, there are 3 Canadian. Suppose you pick a penny out of your pocket at random. Find P(not Canadian).

The answer is 0.75, 75%, or 3/4 because out of the 12 pennies, 3 of them are Canadian, while 9 of them are not Canadian. So to calculate the probability you need to divide the amount of non-Canadian pennies, 9, by the total amount of pennies, 12.
