well, "e" will be the 100%, and we know that 125% of "e" is 30, so then

[tex]\bf \begin{array}{ccll} amount&\%\\ \cline{1-2} e&100\\ 30&125 \end{array}\implies \cfrac{e}{30}=\cfrac{100}{125}\implies \cfrac{e}{30}=\cfrac{4}{5}\implies 5e=120 \\\\\\ e=\cfrac{120}{5}\implies e = 24[/tex]
