Peru current meets the south equatorial current and joins in it. It goes from cool to warm as it gets closer to the equator.

Peru current is a cold water current of a Pacific Ocean.

It is a cold water so that it brings the fog with it to the near by areas.

The areas closer to the equator is too hot because in that area the rays of sun directly reaches to the Earth.So, when Peru current is close to the equator it becomes warmer.
