Although the question is not a complete one, the statement is the definition of assessment validity. Validity of assessment shows the extent to which it measures what it is supposed to measure. Validity has three kinds, content validity, criterion-related validity, and construct validity.  

As an example, a test has content validity if its content is comparable to the content of the textbook or materials of the course.
