Is (–3, 6) a solution to this system of equations?

10x − 5y = 16
x + y = 3

wellllllllllll when you plug in (-3) for x and (6) for y

10(-3)-5(6)=16

-30-30=16

-60=16

as you can see -60 is not equal to 16 so that means (-3,6) is not a solution :)

there is not point in trying the second equation cause we already know it is false :))
