y = mx + c

find the gradient (m)
m = y2-y1 / x2-x1
m = -1-1/2-1
m = -2/1
m = -2

we know that the value of c (y-intercept) is 3 because when x=0, y=3

Therefore, the equation is:
y = -2x + 3

The right answer is C
