therfore,

(Twice the sum of a number and 2)= 2 multiplied (sum of )x+2

  =2(x+2)

(three times the difference of the number and 3) 3 multiplied (difference of)x-3

=3(x-3)

hence, 2(x+2)=3(x-3)

solve

2(x+2)=3(x-3)

=2 x+4 =3 x-9

=2x-3x=-9-4

= 1 x = 13 (we have cancelled the negative symbol)

x= 13

therfore,  30=30
