How do you find the notes C and F on a marimba

On a 3.5 octave vibraphone, middle C (or C4) is the lowest C. On most marimbas, you will find C4 2 octaves below the highest C. Larger marimbas usually have a bigger range downwards from a 4.3 rather than upwards, most marimbas stop at C.
