The value of above expression.

Solution,

We have,

[tex]\dfrac{1}{4}-\dfrac{3}{5}[/tex]

The LCM of 4 and 5 is 20.

[tex]\dfrac{1}{4}-\dfrac{3}{5}=\dfrac{(5)-4(3)}{20}\\\\=\dfrac{5-12}{20}\\\\=\dfrac{-7}{20}[/tex]

So, the required answer is [tex]\dfrac{-7}{20}[/tex].
