7-s=x
x÷3=2

First, figure out what x is. 
x÷3=2
Multiply both sides by 3
x=6

Now, plug x into 7-s=x
7-s=6
Add s to both sides
7=6+s
Subtract 6 from both sides
1=s
s=1
