Using it's concept, it is found that the radix of the arbitrary number system is of 3.

What is the radix of a number system?

It is the number of different digits that the system has, for example:

  • The binary system has radix 2, as it has digits 0 and 1.
  • The decimal digit has radix 10, as it has 10 digits from 0 to 9.

In this problem, the digits are 0, 1 and x, hence the radix of the arbitrary number system is of 3.
