x has to be higher than 1. 5-3 is 2, which is equal to two but not greater than. X cannot be less than 1. To show this in an inequality:

[tex] x-3\geq2 implies x \geq 3+2 hence x \geq 5 [/tex].

this means x has smallest value 5.

THE SMALLEST VALUE OF 5X will thus be 5 * 5 = 25
