(32.75+39.88) =72.63= cost of both meal. 14% of this total cost would be  10.1682. then add that to the cost of the meal to get the total cost. 72.63+10.1682=$82.80 (rounded to nearest cent)

Add $32.75 and $39.88:  $72.63.

The 14% tip comes to 0.14($72.63).  Find the total cost by mult. ($72.63) BY 1.14.
