find the 26th term of this sequence: 8 14 20 26

set an inquality that fit the situation
As each of them has a difference of 6
The first term=8,the base term=(8-6)i.e. 2
Let x be the number of term
2+6x will be the inequality

So the 26th term is
2+6(26)
=158
