The balance chemical equation for this reaction is as follow,

                                     2 Na  +  Br₂  ------->  2 NaBr

According to this equation, 45.98 g when reacted with excess of Bromine produces 205.78 g of NaBr.

Now, Calculating for 5 g fo Na metal,

                                      = (205.78 × 5) ÷ 45.98

                                      = 22.37 g of NaBr
